Responsible Gaming at bdrome goes beyond a page of rules — it's a core part of how our entire platform is built. We know online gaming can be thrilling: a live bet on cricket, a winning hand in blackjack, or a big round on slots — that excitement is completely natural. But ensuring it never goes beyond your control is exactly what responsible gaming is all about.
Bdrome's responsible gaming policy was built with Bangladesh's realities in mind. Many members play on mobile — some on a fixed income, others managing a tight family budget. bdrome wants every member to enjoy the game and wake up the next morning with no regrets.
Most people don't recognize the early signs of a gaming problem — because the shift happens gradually. bdrome wants its members to be able to assess their own situation honestly. There are certain warning signs that should prompt you to pause:
If you notice any of these signs in yourself, reach out to bdrome support. The team won't judge — they'll just help. Stepping back isn't a sign of weakness; it's the smart move.
The deposit limit is bdrome's simplest and most effective responsible gaming tool. Say you decide to spend no more than ৳5,000 on gaming in a month — just go to your account settings and set a monthly limit of ৳5,000. After that, you won't be able to deposit more than ৳5,000 for the rest of that month — the system will block it automatically.
Limits can be reduced immediately. However, increasing a limit requires a 72-hour, or three-day, waiting period. This 72-hour delay is not a bug — it is intentional by design. In the heat of the moment, people often make impulsive decisions. After 72 hours, any decision to raise a limit is far more likely to be a considered one. If you still feel you need a higher limit after that period, you can go ahead and increase it.
Many people think cooldown and self-exclusion are the same thing — they're not.
A cooldown is a temporary break — from 24 hours up to 30 days. Say you had a big loss in a match and feel like you need to clear your head — activate a cooldown. Access returns automatically once the period ends. You won't be able to log in to bdrome while a cooldown is active.
Self-exclusion is a longer-term commitment. It allows you to step away from gaming for 6 months, 1 year, or permanently. During a self-exclusion period, bdrome will not send any promotional emails or SMS messages. The exclusion cannot be lifted before the chosen period ends — and that is precisely what makes this tool so effective. If you genuinely need additional support, it is also advisable to reach out to a professional organization alongside self-exclusion.
Bdrome is strictly for individuals aged 18 and above only. Date of birth is verified at registration, and a government-issued ID may be requested if there is any doubt. If a member is found to have registered with a false age, their account is closed immediately.
If a parent or guardian suspects their child is using online gaming platforms, they should contact bdrome directly. bdrome will investigate and take the necessary steps. Protecting minors is a social responsibility — one that bdrome takes very seriously.
Bdrome's AI-powered monitoring system analyzes gaming patterns with the user's consent. If a member's playing behavior changes suddenly — such as spending excessive hours gaming late at night, repeatedly increasing deposit limits, or placing large bets right after a loss — the system flags it.
When such patterns are detected, bdrome automatically sends an alert — not as a reprimand, but simply as a friendly check-in. The alert serves as a reminder about the available responsible gaming tools and encourages the member to reach out to support. This system is entirely optional — you can turn it off if you prefer.
Online gaming is still relatively new in Bangladesh, and many families don't talk about it openly. bdrome believes this culture of silence needs to change. If someone is facing financial or emotional stress because of gaming, speaking up about it is not a sign of weakness — it takes real courage.
Bdrome is not a professional counselling organisation. But our support team is always ready to listen and can point you toward professional help when needed. Your wellbeing matters more to bdrome than any number on a screen.
